Mallory is dedicated to the pursuit of educating through storytelling. In addition to her theatre education and experience, she has woven her life experience through numerous careers and cultural communities. She is best known for her work with disability advocacy and entertainment design in theatre, film, & television. Mallory graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design. Her most recent designs include art direction and costume design for the web series “Interrogation: A Scifi Webseries,” costume designing “Stupid Fucking Bird” at Boston Court in Pasadena, California, and “Next to Normal” at Mixed Blood Theatre in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mallory’s work has been seen throughout the Denver Metro Area. Specifically, she has been the costume designer for PHAMALY (Physically Handicapped Actors and Musical Artisans League) and has designed such shows for them as, “Urinetown, The Wiz, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Guys and Dolls, and The Pajama Game.” Mallory also works in the area of costume crafts and Millinery. Outside of the theatre, she has experience in ethnography, vocational work, and membership & education work with non-profit. She is currently serving on the board of directors for the Society of Disability Studies.
